Before a logo and visual identity project: explain your business

Describe the activity and audience

Provide the approved business name in each required language, products or services, intended customers and where they encounter the brand. Explain the impression and practical distinction you want the identity to communicate.

Explain references and constraints

Share existing master files when updating an identity. Describe what you value in reference images without copying another brand. Identify mandatory elements separately from preferences.

List the deliverables

Agree logo variants, stationery, signage, packaging, social templates and web assets individually. Specify language versions, concepts, revision rounds, formats, source files and usage rights in the quotation.

Approve and retain the master

Use consolidated feedback from the person authorized to approve. Review the design in its actual applications and sizes. Retain the approved source and exports with clear version names.
