Before designing a booth: define its space and purpose

A booth is a working space during the event. Plan what visitors should discover, try or discuss before choosing the appearance.

Before designing a booth: define its space and purpose

Use the approved event plan

Provide width, depth, available height, open sides, aisles, columns and equipment constraints. Include the organizer’s manual. Previous booth photographs cannot establish this event’s requirements.

Prioritize functions and displays

Separate essential and optional reception, products, screens, meetings, storage and demonstrations. Share product dimensions, power needs and arrival arrangements. Assign equipment, furniture, transport and installation responsibilities.

Prepare content and consistent views

Provide approved logos, text and imagery, and a concise main message. Request the plans and views needed for review, with matching equipment positions and dimensions. Resolve conflicts between views before fabrication.

Agree delivery and future use

Separate design only, fabrication, installation and equipment. Confirm approval stages, access, assembly and dismantling dates. Discuss storage and reuse explicitly if required; they are not automatic features.
